My Hometown

Hello! I’m Jemmy. Now i want to tell you all about my hometown.

Even though my father is from Peureulak, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. And my mother is from Baturaja, South Sumatera. I was born and raised in Bogor, West Java. In conclusion, my hometown is in Bogor. My hometown is a cool, beautiful and historic place.

Bogor is called rain city for it’s high rainfall. The atmosphere of this city is cool and beautiful. The air is really fresh and it also has many beautiful parks.

Bogor has many iconic place, such as: Botanical Garden, Presidential Palace and Kujang Monument. In the Botanical Garden we can find Amorphophallus titanum, people here usually call it as “Bunga Bangkai” and we also can find Rafflesia arnoldi here. In the Presidential Palace we can find many deers from Nepal. On the Kujang Monument we can find Sundanese traditional weapon figure on the top of the high monument.

Bogor is also well-known for it’s iconic taro. Besides the taro, Bogor has the other popular foods. For example: Toge Goreng, Laksa Bogor, Doclang, Cungkring and Asinan.

By the way, i still can visit my hometown weekly. So i won’t miss my hometown too much. Thus my little story about my hometown. I hope you’ll have a chance to visit it.
